INTRODUCTION

The Model MCSG range of air-insulated metal-clad switchgear and withdrawable vacuum circuit-breakers have been developed by LSIS in accordance with international safety standards established by the IEC and GB specification commissions.
The Model Solution Power cells have been developed as a multifunctional system suitable for a wide range of applications in power distribution and to carry out motor control functions in the mining sector, railway sector, etc.

KEMA MAIN CERTIFICATION

IEC 62271-100 with Model VCB as a withdrawable three-phase vacuum circuit-breaker in a frame incorporating the molded busbar and output conductors for cubicles with rated current levels from 630 A to 3150 A.
IEC 62271-102, Sections 6.6 (short-time current) and 6.101 (making power) for the three-phase earthing switch used in the Solution Power cubicle.
IEC 62271-200 with the MCSG cubicle under a metal enclosure incorporating a vacuum circuit breaker and an earthing switch for cubicles with rated current levels of 630 A and 3150 A.

STANDARD FEATURES

The Model MCSG cubicles have been designed as systems with metallic shielding according to the specifications of the IEC 62271-200 standard. It has the following characteristics:
• The Model MCSG cubicle is configured as follows: busbar compartment, switch compartment, cable compartment, VT compartment and LV compartment.
• The spacers between the compartments are metal and grounded. Each compartment has its own separate metal ventilation channel.
• Model MCSG cubicles meet the LSC2B classification of the IEC 62271-200 standard.
• The cells are designed with front access to all service sections; Access from the rear is only necessary in the cable connection phase during assembly.

INTRODUCTION

Air-insulated metal cubicles are suitable for maneuvering and protection in MV / LV transformation centers.
High performance and economical service, LAGO brand air-insulated medium voltage switchgear use proven and reliable technology, and perform what the user always expects from a switchgear installation: full functionality at an extremely attractive price.
Made of sheet steel, the painted parts are treated with the application of an epoxy powder paint system, gray RAL 7032, in the standard version.

INTRODUCTION

The ME6 medium voltage cubicle, insulated in SF6, have been studied for compact secondary distribution stations and have been designed to provide a wide variety of functions and services as required by the modern distribution system.
Each typical unit is divided into two compartments:
• An upper compartment containing the main bus bars.
• A lower compartment that contains a variety of electrical equipment (switches, disconnectors, protections, current transformers, voltage transformers and terminals)

The compartments are separated from each other with the metal body of the switch-disconnector, which guarantees a degree of protection IP3X and when the door is open and the busbars are in service, access to the equipment compartment is allowed.

In the upper position it is possible to locate a low voltage section.

WHAT IS COMPASS?

COMPASS stands for COMpact Prefabricated with Substation Air Insulation and includes all the high voltage functions of a single bay in a single module. Each phase includes:
• A circuit breaker with BLK unit (both three-phase operation).
• Two disconnectors with their own motor / manual operation.
• Two earthing switches with their own motor / manual operation.

TRANSPORTATION, ASSEMBLY AND MAINTENANCE

The entire COMPASS module is fully designed, assembled and tested in accordance with IEC standards at LAGO-ABB plants and can be transported to the installation site on a simple truck or in a container without having to be disassembled in any way. This eliminates the need for any major electrical testing on site.
COMPASS is very simple, fast and economical to assemble, thanks to its design, which not only reduces the assembly and start-up stages, but also saves a lot of space thanks to the NABLA self-supporting bar system.
This means that there is no need for busbar post insulators to support the busbar system, as the weight is supported by the COMPASS modules.
All of this means significant reductions in on-site costs.

PRESENTATION

The CE series motor controls are suitable for switching disconnectors. The main characteristics of the CE motor controls are:

DESCRIPTION

The LBF-EF type fuse bases for use with ACR fuses (current limiting fuses) are suitable for the protection of transformers, motors, capacitor banks and lines in outdoor distribution systems with nominal voltage up to 36 KV.
The mounting configuration of the LBF fuse bases is of the vertical type with 180º opening. The top contact is supplied with a latch device that provides a secure lock in the closed position. The bottom contact supports a hinge-type system that provides self-alignment of the base during the opening and closing operation. The fuse installation or removal operation is by means of an insulated pole (when the circuit is without load). LBF bases are manufactured in accordance with the following international standards: IEC 60282 - 1 and DIN 43625.

INSULATORS

The LBF-EF type fuse-bases can be supplied with different support type insulators such as porcelain, cycloaliphatic resin or polymeric silicone rubber compound.

ACCESSORIES

The accessories to obtain three-pole fuse bases are supplied additionally, they include two steel crossbars, a set of clamps and mounting plates for fixing.

HANDLING THE FUSE

The fuses are provided with a pull ring and lifting eye for easy handling with an insulated pole during installation and replacement of fuses. The opening and / or closing operations are always carried out without load.
• Opening: The operator inserts the pole into the puller ring and rotates the fuse 180º until it reaches the fully open position.
• Removal: The operator inserts the pole into the lifting eye, moves the pole up and away from the hinge to lower the fuse to ground level.

PRESENTATION

The SGLT tensioned line unipolar disconnector is used for the sectioning of lines or equipment isolation in overhead distribution systems from 15 KV to 69 KV.
Polymeric silicone insulators are used resulting in a very light weight sectionalizer. The SGLT switch is easy to install on the line, eliminating the need for pole mounting.

Manufactured and tested in accordance with IEC / ANSI standards.

DESIGN FEATURES

• Suitable silicone insulators are used as a mounting base to provide adequate creepage and insulation capacity (BIL).
• High conductivity copper blades designed to provide maximum strength and rigidity.
• High pressure, self cleaning, silver linear type contacts with stainless steel springs.
• Spring loaded safety lock that prevents unwanted openings in the event of stress due to short-circuit currents and vibrations.

OPERATION

For operation, the SGLT disconnectors have a bronze ring located at one end of the blade, requiring a minimum effort to open or close it. The operation is carried out from the ground level using an insulated pole.

DESCRIPTION

Line disconnectors type SGUCR are switching equipment for applications in direct current overhead networks. They are used to feed, disconnect or connect sections of traction lines or connect parallel lines. These disconnectors are composed of a disconnecting blade, complemented by an arc restrictor device, which allow it to interrupt inductive and capacitive currents. The innovation lies in the possibility of quick opening, which allows to increase the useful life of the power contacts and therefore of the disconnector. The disconnector is motorized to be operated locally remotely and with an emergency manual override.

INSTALLATION FEATURES

Single-pole type equipment suitable for horizontal / vertical mounting outdoors. Suitable for mounting on a concrete or steel post and its command at the base of the same post.
• The motorized command is linked to the disconnector by means of a shaft made of galvanized steel tube, and may have an intermediate insulator to protect the operator.
• The electrical command will be made up of a motor, reducer, contactors, relays, terminal blocks, auxiliary contacts, heater, and other accessories, inside a steel box protected according to IP 54.

The LVP series load-break switches are of the automatic air blow type, of simple and robust construction. It complies with the IEC-265- 420 manufacturing standards.
The result of a long construction experience, they guarantee high reliability of use and practically zero maintenance. These devices economically and safely solve medium voltage distribution problems, having various uses such as: maneuvering and protection of transformers, cables and lines. The following executions are arranged:
• LVP – n: designed for closing and opening operations with speed independent of the operator, carried out manually or by motor.
• LVPI-n: ditto LVP, with the possibility of remote opening operations through the release coil.
• LVP – r; LVPI-r: reduced width, the characteristics are similar to the previously described executions, the distances between phases are reduced and two separating plates of insulating material are added.
The particularity of this type of disconnector consists in its operation, the movement of the pistons commanded by maneuvering axes self-generates a violent jet of air that acts on the arc, deionizes it and quickly extinguishes it. As air generation channel, the same insulator is used where the fixed contacts are mounted.
This system does not suffer appreciable alterations over time and there are no disadvantages in its provision. If necessary all its main components are easily replaceable.

DESCRIPTION

The LAGO on-load disconnector, type SBCco combined with fuse is designed to meet the current needs of customers. The disconnector is combined with cutout fuses or HRC fuses.
This disconnector is a solution mainly for the protection of distribution transformers and overhead lines.
To minimize installation time in the field, the switch is preassembled tight and mounted on two cross braces. The SBCco switch is available in a vertical mounting configuration.

Manufacturing standards IEC 62271-103, 62271-1, 60282; ANSI C37.34.

CONTACTS

The design uses the magnetic forces acting on the contacts and allows a high pressure to be maintained during fault conditions. Constructed of high conductivity silver plated copper provide reliable contact areas.

SG-TANDEM series disconnectors for outdoor use, for voltages from 15 kV to 38 kV, consist of two single-phase SGU-type switch disconnectors mounted in tandem.

FEATURES

• These disconnectors are recommended for installations with automatic switches and reclosers that require maintenance and periodic inspections but without interruption in the power supply.

The SLA-2C1R series three-pole, two-column side-opening disconnectors for outdoor use are of the type with a single lateral interruption with a rotating isolator and a fixed isolator per pole. They are designed and built in accordance with the IEC 62271-102 recommendations.
Features:

• Simplified and robust construction that ensures reliable operation, minimizing maintenance.

• Active part, with silver treatment, made up of arms made of copper profiles with high characteristics of electrical conductivity and mechanical resistance.

• Column support frame made of hot galvanized steel.
• Active part made up of aluminum arms, with high characteristics of electrical conductivity and mechanical resistance. The contacts are made up of a cylindrical pin or curved plate, according to nominal intensity, and pairs of electrolytic copper blades self-compressed by stainless steel springs that give it an adequate contact pressure. The contact areas receive a silver treatment.

• Active part made up of electrolytic copper plates, self-compressed by stainless steel springs, which give it an adequate contact pressure. Contact areas receive a silver treatment. The set is mounted on a robust galvanized steel support that guarantees its mechanical rigidity.
• The fixed contacts are made of silver-plated copper plates designed for the mounting of anti-freeze protections, which are provided as an option.

The conformation of the boards can be with hinged doors on the front and against the front, blind or with laminated glass; removable sides, fixed roof and removable floor for cable connections. The locks are of the three-point espagnolette type, with or without a key; internal hinges. They are provided individually, or coupled with each other.
The assemblies are adapted to the equipment that the client requires, molded case circuit breakers, thermomagnetic, differential, motor starters, protection relays, etc.

The cabinets for indoor use are built with SAE 1010 sheet metal, 1,5 / 2mm thick, electrostatically painted, with RAL 7032 color thermo-convertible polyester powder paint, or at the customer's request. The joists for the structural fixings are made of galvanized steel, the anchors or joints
